I’ve been using Twitter a fair bit at the minute with interesting results. If you haven’t already done so check it out - you can head to my page at http://twitter.com/paul_turner and see my “tweets” I’ve been offering the free video from Micheal Cheney’s affiliate millions product on here and people are viewing it and hopefully gaining value.
Aside from my online business I also run an offline business and I’m currently arranging meetings with companies that can recruit new members for us. I set people up in the window blinds business and even thought the economic climate is kind of tough at the minute we are still doing okay.
It’s my online business that really excites me though and I’ve been looking at building my clickbank sales with review pages. I currently set up a free blog and put my affiliate links on that.
I’m trying to raise the stakes now by building a list, offering a review of 3 products rather than just linking to one and also offerering a bonus product to anybodt that buys from my page.
I’m hoping that will increase my conversion rates dramatically! I think blogs are easier to get traffic to because of services like pingomatic and the blog directories so I have put a link to the page on my niche blogs. I also use the excellent Unique article wizard to build backlinks and content at the same time (check out my review on this blog - http://paulturnermarketing.com/affiliate-marketing/unique-article-wizard-review/)
Well thats what I’m doing at the minute. I’ve set myself a deadline to make some money to buy a house in a Cornish Village called Boscastle - google it and you’ll see how nice it is.
That’s my reason for doing this - you have to have some passion or motivation to get where you want to be in your business. A few days there recently really gave me something to aim at.
