Blogging to get traffic

There are 2 types of website - those that are meant to sell something and those that are meant to get traffic to send to the ones that make money.

A sales letter is’t written to get good search engine rankings - it’s there to sell a product or service.

A blog is a great tool for getting found in the search engines.  You can grow the site with other people’s comments and you can list each post in several blog directories and ping sites to get links and traffic.

The search engines like them as well, especially if they have lots; of fresh content put on them on a regular basis.
